FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

2022 Juneteenth Fundraising Campaign

Dear Juneteenth Foundation, Inc. Supporters,
The Juneteenth Foundation, Inc. (“the Foundation”) extends our sincere gratitude for your donations during our 27th Annual Juneteenth Charitable Fundraising Campaign.  Your gracious and generous donations helped to provide much needed assistance to several individuals and families in the community during the peak season of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are excited to let you know that the Charity BBQ Cook-Off is taking place this year!  It is scheduled for Friday, starting at 1:00 p.m. on June 17th and ending at 6:00 p.m on June 18th, 2022.  But, if you find yourself not being able to attend the event, or if you are choosing to stay away from crowds for awhile, or even if there is some other reason you cannot attend the festivities at the park,  you can still participate in our fundraising campaign.  We will definitely welcome your donations so we can continue helping those in need throughout the community.

The Foundation is a unique non-profit organization in that it can reach out to people in the community who do not know where to go for help, or even how to ask for help.  The Foundation’s members are part of the same community as those individuals and families and when we hear, usually by word-of-mouth, that someone is struggling, or there is a family in need, we jump into action and find out how we can help, and we do it as quickly as possible.  We have provided food; monetary assistance for medical and household necessities; educational scholarships; and have provided and helped with many other crucial items.  Not only do we help individuals and families that are struggling through hard times, but we also provide our support to other charitable organizations in the community such as the Hays County Youth Livestock Show; Citizens in Need; Calaboose African American History Museum; and San Marcos High School Scholarship Program.

Your donation, no matter the amount, will benefit the community now and into the future.

How You Can Help
We ask for your help by donating to the Foundation, which will go towards supporting those in need throughout the community.  Also, remember that your donation to the Foundation is tax-exempt because it is a non-profit organization.

Please write a check or money order and mail it to us, please make your check payable to "Juneteenth Foundation, Inc." and remit to the following address:
